All About Honey

Honey is a cooking app which assist with the distribution of my recipes, and also serves as a way for me to store some skills which I think will come in handy. Honey is mostly being created for people in my life who ask me “how did you make this?”. Now they have access to everything I make, including some nifty tricks which I think are useful.

This app has a collection of my favourite recipes, and some lessons which will assist with everyday cooking and baking. It is with an easy step-by-step instruction page which is intuitive to use, and easy to engage with. Honey also comes with a built-in grocery list so that you no longer need to go out of app to write down those recipe ingredients. Easily add your items, and click them to delete. 

How To Install

Although you have the files which can easily be downloaded, there are some other programs you may need in order to completely run it.  Here are some things I suggest you install and sign up to:

1.  React Native
2.  Node Modules
3.  Expo Go (on your phone) or iOS/Android Simulator

In the terminal you will then need to do the following:

1. Open your terminal and then type
   
   $ git clone {the url to the GitHub repo}
   
   This clones the repo
2. cd into the new folder and type
   
   $ npm install
   
   This installs the required dependencies

1. To run the React project.
   $ npm start
